Adolfo Cambiaso, the Argentine Polo crack


Here in our country, one of the most important polo player is Adolfo (or Adolfito) Cambiaso.  He was born inside a polist family and from them he has learned most of the things he is able to show us now. His family started a polo school named “La Martina Polo Ranch”.  He has learned not only from his father but also from his 2 brothers. He has perfectioned his technique

by playing polo in countries like the United States. He is one of those sport players that anyone, not only polo fans, enjoy watching play.

Cambiaso is 32 years old and he is married to one of the most beautiful woman in Argentina, María Vazquez, a former top model. He is considered one of the best 10-goal players in the world. What is really amazing about this player? Well, he has won almost every single tournament he has played in. He not only plays in our country but also abroad and his domination of the sport is excellent anywhere he plays it. 

Cambiaso plays not only in our country but also abroad and his domination of the sport is excellent anywhere he plays it.  His father started to play this sport when he was 35 years old and he still loves it -he was able to show his passion to his sons. When Adolfo was 13 years old he rated 3 goals. That year he played in La Martina Team with his father and they won the Eduardo Heguy Cup. Then he started to travel to United States and play in California, Washington, Santa Rosa and other cities. He says that he considers his career as a polo player started when he was 14 years old and 4 goals as handicap.

He is also well known as one of the polo players who got a 10-goal handicap when only 17 years old in the United States and 19 years old in our country. He has perfectioned his technique by playing polo in countries like the United States. He is one of those sport players that anyone, not only polo fans, enjoy watching play.

 

He has won not only several tournaments with the different teams in which he has played but also he has won other distinctions such as the Olimpia de Plata award in 1997 as the most important Argentine Polo player, Best player in the Abierto Argentino in 1997, and in 1998 the record of 67 goals in the same tournament.

He is in the Argentine National Polo team since 2002. He plays nowadays in La Dolfina with Lucas Monteverde, Bartolomé Castagnola and Mariano Aguerre. They won the Abierto Argentino in 2005 and in 2006. Last year they won La Aguada by 14-13. It is also expected that they will win again this year, but will see. Adolfo Cambiaso is one of the most importat sportsman here in Argentina and one of the best looking polo player as well.
